At Willow Grove Medical Group, we believe exceptional healthcare begins with understanding each patient as an individual. Dr. Eric C. Stevens is committed to providing personalized, compassionate care that addresses the unique needs, goals, and concerns of every patient. His approach is rooted in building meaningful relationships and treating each person with the same attention, respect, and care he would offer a member of his own family. Dr. Stevens is a Family Medicine physician with over a decade of experience caring for patients across a wide range of settings, including outpatient family medicine, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and post-acute care environments. He has also served as Medical Director for a rehabilitation facility, providing clinical leadership while working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. |
A former Air Force Flight Surgeon, Dr. Stevens served in the United States, Europe, and Asia, where he gained valuable leadership experience in team building and collaboration. His residency training in North Philadelphia and subsequent work in New Jersey he cared for individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. These experiences helped shape his patient-centered philosophy and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life with empathy, respect, and understanding.
His clinical interests include comprehensive family medicine, preventive care, chronic disease management, geriatric medicine, dementia care, rehabilitation, and helping patients maintain independence, function, and quality of life. He believes that the best medical care combines evidence-based medicine with genuine listening, open communication, and a deep understanding of each patient's individual circumstances.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Stevens enjoys spending time with his family, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hiking, biking, and exploring history, cultures, science, music, and film. His lifelong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning help him bring both knowledge and perspective to the care of his patients.
